The Complete RBRVS

Annual data file or updateable data file (receive quarterly updates) available.

The Complete RBRVS is an RBRVS relative value data file with gap values created by Relative Value Studies, Inc.

The Medicare physician fee schedule (MPFS) is used to set physician fees for Medicare and many commercial fee schedules. However, the Medicare RBRVS does not provide a complete set of relative values. Medicare does not pay for some CPT and HCPCS service codes, and these services usually are not assigned relative value units (RVU) by CMS. Codes not assigned value by Medicare are referred to as gap codes. The Complete RBRVS Annual Data File gives you all the codes valued by CMS and gap values developed by Relative Value Studies, Inc. using a physician survey methodology.
